My Background

 

I have studied art and art history, and most recently have left most of the words behind in favor of pictures. I find the challenges of picture-making more interesting than the challenges of pure scholarship.

 

What is there left to say in words or pictures? Mostly, I think of John Cage's paradoxical statement: "I have nothing to say and I am saying it."
